Frequently asked questions

There is no definitive production time for animation. It depends on the length, the complexity of the design, and the level of detail needed. Just like building a house. A small simple one storey house will take a shorter time to complete compared to a twenty storey building. Simply get in touch with Gachoki Studios, and we shall give you a timeline for your project.

2D and 3D in animation refer to the actual dimensions in a computer workspace. 2D is “flat”, using the horizontal and vertical (X and Y) dimensions, the moving images have only two dimensions and if turned to the side become a line. 3D adds the depth (Z) dimension. This third dimension allows for rotation and visualization from multiple perspectives. It is essentially the difference between a photo and a sculpture.

There is no average production cost for animation. It depends on the length, the complexity of the design, and the level of detail needed. Just like building a house. A small simple one storey house will cost much less to build compared to a twenty storey building. Simply get in touch with Gachoki Studios, and we shall give you a quote for your project.

Animators are expected to be creative and artistic, with communication and time management skills. They must also have computer expertise and the ability to use animation and video editing software. To orient faster and easier into the industry, YES you need to attend an animation course.
